Fundraising!

So.....if you've been to our regular blog, you know that we will be trying to raise some money to bring  Wenwen home.  I am starting this blog for fundraising purposes only.  I will still be posting on the family blog, so pop in there to see what is up with Joy and to follow us on our trip to bring home Wenwen! 

Anyway.....my Mom paints eggs.  Mainly goose eggs, but also some duck eggs and the very occasional ostrich egg.  Now that is a BIG egg!  She has gotten to be an amazing artist!  She has made us some very special eggs over the years.  My favorite is the one she made when we brought Joy home.  It has several scenes from China painted on it (taken from our photos) and then Joy.  Yes, she actually painted Joy onto the egg!  It is stunning!  So, what's the point of this little talk?  Well, she has donated some special eggs for us to sell in order to raise some money.  These eggs are made from a small goose egg, are hand sketched and painted with ladybugs, sealed with a protective finish and decorated with a red ribbon.  She will also put names on your egg, if you want.  These are perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree.  Trust me....I have several!  They are approximately 12" long including the ribbon.  We are asking $15 each....a steal!  If you are nearby, I will gladly deliver your egg, too!  If we need to ship it to you, I am thinking $6 would probably get it to you!  I think the best way to do this is to email me at farrellchina@yahoo.com and let me know what you need.  I have a Paypal account and we could just send the money thru that.  Easy, right?
